Personalized Learning Pathways for Every Student
At Eardley Education, we understand that "one size fits all" simply doesn’t work when it comes to instruction. A student struggling with reading fluency requires a different toolkit than a student needing support with algebraic concepts or organizational skills.
This is precisely why we utilize the Adaptive Multisensory Instruction (AMI)TM methodology.
Our Instruction Services are built on a foundation of diagnostic precision and empathetic connection. We don't just help students complete homework; we identify the underlying learning profile, address specific gaps, and teach the strategies necessary for independent success. Whether your child needs remediation, enrichment, or specialized support, our expert Learning Coaches are here to guide the way.
Reading Fluency and Spelling Instruction
Utilizing our Adaptive Multisensory Instruction (AMI)™—which incorporates research-backed methods like Orton-Gillingham and Lindamood-Bell Seeing Stars®—we help students build a "visual dictionary" in their brain. This approach transforms reading from a slow, exhausting process into an automatic reflex, enabling your child to tackle grade-level texts with confidence and independence.
Reading Comprehension and Writing Instruction
Through our Adaptive Multisensory Instruction (AMI)™, we bridge the gap between simple word recognition and complex critical thinking. By utilizing methods such as the Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing® program for comprehension and The Writing Revolution for structured expression, we give students the tools to organize their thoughts and express them clearly. The result is a student who doesn't just read the words, but truly understands the meaning and is able to think critically about what they have read.
Mathematics Instruction
We follow the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) sequence—starting with hands-on manipulatives that allow students to "see" and "feel" the math before moving to traditional numbers and symbols. Whether your child has dyscalculia or simply struggles with math concepts, our approach integrates imagery and language to build deep conceptual understanding and long-term success.
Executive Function Coaching
At Eardley Education, we treat Executive Function as the "command center" of the brain. We don't just offer subject tutoring; we build the personalized systems necessary for success. From helping K-12 students organize their backpacks to guiding college students through syllabus planning and aiding professionals in managing workplace demands, our coaching fosters true independence. We replace procrastination and overwhelm with actionable strategies for time management, organization, and emotional regulation.
